Analytic Solutions finalizes first phase for the State of Oklahoma SWAP project with EnecoTech

Castle Rock, CO - EnecoTech and Analytic Solutions have finalized the first phase of the development of the State of Oklahoma SWAP project. EnecoTech, an environmental consulting firm, won the Source Water Assessment and Protection (SWAP) project with the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Water Quality Division. The SWAP project involves developing an automated system to evaluate the susceptibility to contamination for all Public Water Supplies (PWS) in the state of Oklahoma and a report generator to detail the findings. EnecoTech chose Analytic Solutions to develop the software portion of the project.

"We chose Analytic Solution for a number of reasons," said Gary Vanderslice, Project Manager for EnecoTech. "First and foremost is the level of expertise that the Analytic Solutions team affords us. Their team of software engineers are easy to talk to, and very talented in delivering a high-quality product within a defined time frame. We're also pleased with the customer service that Analytic Solutions has given us, by our close working relationship and collaborating virtually using Analytic Solution’s ProLink application. With ProLink, our employees, developers, owners and sub-contractors now benefit from the ability to integrate project management, document sharing, task assignment and discussion forums into the project - and if they have any questions, someone from Analytic Solutions is happy to help them." Analytic Solutions typically donates ProLink to use in any custom software implementation.

EnecoTech has delivered several SWAP reports for other states, and is pleased to bring Analytic Solutions into their consultant family. The SWAP reports, dubbed the HydroRisk™ Report, has been created by EnecoTech using current regulatory database information, topographic maps, water level data, floodplain zones, etc. EnecoTech's concise and easy to use report evaluates the physical setting's vulnerability, interprets the data and formulates a susceptibility ranking and report for Public Water Supply (PWS) intakes.

"EnecoTech and the State of Oklahoma were ideal partners for Analytic Solutions and we look forward to working again with them in the future," said Shawn McKenna, President of Analytic Solutions. "They are professionals in the environmental arena and experts at the SWAP program.

The application, once deployed, will allow analysts to easily print out reports of contaminant levels, threat ratings, susceptibility scores and source water information based on a Public Water Supply identification number. These reports will display GIS maps, comparison charts and preventative measures to users who request the information. The report is also easily viewable on the Internet, since it is generated in a PDF format.
