Senior C# .Net Developer
We are seeking a programmer/developer to enhance current and future C# .Net systems. The candidate must possess written and verbal communication skills consistent with discussing/describing system designs. The candidate will be asked to understand existing complex systems in support of changes and repairs. The candidate will also look for opportunities to enhance the systems to gain efficiencies and/or create new products. The candidate should be able to identify and adhere to existing programming standards.
The candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting web-based applications as well as developing and supporting non-web-based back-end applications. This position also participates in the testing process and supports the software through the implementation phase. Web-based applications are developed in ASP.Net; back-end software is developed using C#.
Technical skills required:
- C#.Net using Microsoft Visual Studio 2003/2005
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and tool knowledge:
- Self-starter, capable of understanding directions and fulfilling them without direct supervision
- Strong coding and problem solving skills
- Artistic style and ability to coordinate graphic themes across applications and websites
- Strong understanding of all phases of software development.
- Ability to quickly grasp new technical and business concepts
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in small team environments
- Strong dedication to maintaining high customer service and quality control levels while meeting project deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while effectively managing schedule
